I’m a no-frills makeup kinda gal – as much as I’d love to be able to cut the perfect crease and sculpt my skin to within an inch of its life, I just end up reverting back to my standard look or a quick flick of coloured liner if I’m feeling fancy. One thing I will never skip however is concealer and I’m about to let you in on my not-so-secret secret weapon that I discovered through TikTok.
Introducing you to Insta filter skin in a bottle… the Maybelline Instant Anti Age Eraser Eye Concealer. At first glance, I didn’t think this was the concealer for me. The words ‘anti age’ (I’m nearly there, but not quite) and ‘eye concealer’ (I want one concealer that does it all) threw me off, but wow have I learned that you should never judge a book by it’s cover. After seeing this gem being used time after time on TikTok, I’m a sucker for a trend so thought I would give it a go. I’m here to tell you to do the same – trust me, you will never look back.
The Maybelline Instant Anti Age Eraser Eye Concealer is the perfect balance of everything you need from a concealer – it gives the coverage without the caking, the brightening without being too much, and it lasts all day without creasing or fading. Don’t let the name fool you, this concealer is just as good at covering blemishes, correcting discolouration, highlighting, and contouring as it is at hiding those dark circles. I love it so much that I’ve bought it in three shades – I use a lighter shade for brightening under the eyes and highlighting any darker areas, I’ve picked up a shade similar to my foundation to hide blemishes and discolouration, and I’ve also invested in a darker shade to add contour and definition. Simply apply from the sponge applicator, blend with your fingers or a brush, and flawless skin will be yours.
