Get The Look: Soft Glam Prom Makeup Tutorial

But if there is one piece of advice the BEAUTY BAY staff can offer it’s to keep your makeup clean, classic and chic, think a soft neutral eye, dewy skin and a touch of highlighter. You still want to look like yourself, just a little more glam.

There is no look more clean, natural and timeless than the iconic soft glam. To help, we’ve put together a super easy, soft-glam makeup tutorial to follow, that will pair perfectly with any outfit and ensure you won’t be cringing looking back, in years to come.

1. prep and glow

Start with a freshly cleansed face and prep the skin with By BEAUTY BAY 5% Squalane + Grapeseed Oil Serum Hybrid, then apply By BEAUTY BAY’s Glow Filter for a radiant, dewy base.

2. base and blush

After applying your favourite base products (we’re talking foundation or a skin tint and concealer), apply By BEAUTY BAY’s Liquid Cream Blush to the cheeks, and blend with a makeup sponge.

3. warm and bronzey

Sweep bronzer onto the cheekbones, temples, nose and jawline with By BEAUTY BAY’s Dream Delight Face Palette and a powder brush, to add a natural, warm glow. Then, set your face with a powder of your choice.

4. time for the eyes

Using the By BEAUTY BAY 42 Neutral Palette, take the shade Pecan and blend it through the crease with a fluffy brush.

5. shimmer lid

Then, take the shade Locket on a flat, dense brush and pack this onto the eye lid. Blend the two shades together for a seamless finish in the crease.
