We Tried The New MACStack Mascara – Here Are Our Reviews

Mascara is the one makeup product that you really don’t want to be lowkey – long, thick, dramatic eyelashes are always on trend and have the power to pull together and elevate any makeup look. Of course, finding the right mascara is key – it has to deliver on volume, length, and curl, without smudging, flaking, or fading throughout the day. The newly launched MACStack Mascara ticks every box, seriously delivering on every single lash goal.

“Natural lashes never looked so good thanks to MACStack Mascara. My lashes are naturally quite short and sparse. Applying strip lashes is something I do often so I’m always on the look out for a mascara that can give the me the fullness and drama of a faux lash. I was really impressed with the way the brush catches every lash which creates an incredible fanned out look with plenty of volume and length. The formula is buildable but lightweight too – no clumps here (unlike other volumising mascaras i’ve tried)! It’s safe to say this is my new go to!”

“I’ve used the same mascara for the past three-ish years as nothing has competed with it, until now. I’ve had so many compliments on my lashes when wearing MACStack Mascara – it makes my lashes look so much fuller and the jet black colour payoff is richer than any mascara I’ve tried.”

“I’ve been testing out the new MACStack Mascara and when I say instantly impressed. I’m not usually a mascara gal but the chokehold this has me in is unreal. I’ve been using the Mega Brush version, and from the first coat I saw instant length and volume. The buildability of this mascara is insane and I love that you can customize from a subtle look to and all out lash extraganza. Safe to say I’m a MAC Stack STAN. 

“I’ve had the same favourite mascara for over ten years, so when I tell you that I have a new favourite, that’s like, a really big deal… Like all the best mascaras (IMO) MACStack Mascara has a super chunky plastic brush that quickly and easily coats all of your lashes, and a formula that can be layered countless times to build up a really voluminous false lash effect. Not for the ‘no makeup-makeup’ crew, because this is not a subtle mascara – as you can see from the amazing before and after pics we’ve collected, it’s seriously eye-catching. I love wearing it as the finishing touch for a smoky eye or as the standout “showpiece” to pull together an otherwise minimal makeup look.”

“As someone who’s tried pretty much every mascara going, I was so excited to get my hands on the new MACStack Mascara. The packaging on this is so cute, the wand is slim and the perfect shape for grabbing my fairly short flat lashes, it’s flexible too and bends well into my eye shape meaning I can grab even the tiny lashes!! I love how I can build up the length and volume depending on the vibe I’m going for.”

“As much as I love a false lash once in a while, it can be a chore on a daily basis. Luckily, the new MACStack Mascara does it all for you!! The brush is super easy to use and coats literally every lash, plus it’s so easy to build, without ending up clumpy and looking like a hot mess. It also kept my lashes curly all day long which is something hard to find in a mascara. Love it.”

“I absolutely love this mascara, it makes my lashes so long without them looking clumpy. I think it’s safe to say I’ve found my new favourite – the brush is different to any mascara I’ve used before. The placement of the bristles means even the tiniest of lashes get coated, and the formula isn’t too wet so you don’t have to worry about it transferring to your eyelids/cheeks.”

“One of the most dramatic mascaras I have tried, I found I only needed one coat to get a really full lash effect and the mascara lasted really well throughout the day. I did need an eye makeup remover with oil to remove it as it was super long lasting – which is definitely a good thing!”

“It would be an understatement to say I’m obsessed with this mascara! I’m always a big fan of a solid bristled applicator, mainly because they pack the formula over my tiny eyelashes, and this mascara does just that. The formula is the perfect amount of thiccc to give the lashes a wake-me-up boost, but not too heavy that you can see the pigments hanging in your vision. The brush is also ideal for creating a cat-eye effect; just plump the lashes at the root in the outer corners using the top of the brush and you have the perfect false lash effect. Trust me, this mascara has made my Monday mornings look and feel like Saturday nights.”  

“I’m going to be completely honest with you, I’m a mascara snob. I rarely fall victim to a new mascara release that easy, with mascara being my desert island product – I take it very seriously! With this being said I can confirm that the MACStack Mascara very pleasantly surprised me! With one coat I was floored, its very easily buildable too which is a bonus with mascara, you literally can keep stacking until your hearts content. 10/10 from me.”
