Lipstick can pull a look together – a flush of colour on the lips can not only add vibrancy to a finished look but can tie together your eyeshadow and blush. Whilst applying lipstick might be seamless to some, achieving the perfect pout can take practice. See below @nateishascott’s tutorial on how to apply lipstick.
STEP ONE
Prep the lips with a lip balm to keep them hydrated. Balm acts as a great base to not only keep the lips moisturised but to help accentuate the colour on the lips.
STEP TWO
Using a neutral liner draw along the lip line and lightly shade in the corners of the lips.
STEP THREE
Press your lips together to gently blot the liner into the lips for a more natural-looking finish.
STEP FOUR
Take your lipstick and lightly press the shade into your lips. Repeat the process until the desired finish.
STEP FIVE
Take a neutral lip gloss and sweep this across the lips.
STEP SIX
Press your lips together for a final time before completing your look.
