You can imagine my excitement when I heard OLAPLEX had a shampoo and conditioner that not only promised to neutralise any brassiness but strengthen and soften my hair while doing so. From just one use of OLAPLEX No. 4P and No. 5P, I can tell you this dreamy duo did not disappoint. My hair was visibly brighter, smoother, and healthier looking, without a single sign of yellow. While the striking purple colour took me by surprise on first application, it washes away to reveal icy, salon-worthy results worth far more than the price of the bottle.
I completed my haircare routine by applying OLAPLEX No.6 to damp hair, focusing on my mid lengths and ends. I immediately noticed that my hair was easier to manage, and my brush glided through without any tangles (which is typically unheard of for me). When it came to heat styling, my hair was visibly less frizzy, and both looked and felt healthier without feeling greasy. This was my first time using it and I have never used an oil so luxurious but so lightweight. It literally only takes a few swipes of a few drops, like 2-3 at most, for my unmanageable mane to be left instantly frizz-free, silky, and oh-so-soft – not a single flyaway in sight.
